This Day in History: 1911-10-14
The Squirrels, as we use to know it, was originally the Dovercourt Sports Club. Under the chairmanship of Mr JW Carlyon-Hughes and on this day 1911 a site was purchased and the work of building a Clubhouse and the Construction of seven tennis courts commenced.
