Submarine HMS E30 was built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle upon Tyne and was laid down on 29 June 1914 and commissioned in November 1915.
E30 left Harwich on this day 1916 and was sunk in the North Sea, possibly due to a mine off Orford Ness.
