This Day in History: 1931-11-16
Work commenced on building Parkeston Quay’s second extension,the 1,200 feet westward extension was designed for three berths. on the extension was built a 900 x 62 feet transit shed on two floors. The new extension was officially opened on the 1st November 1934.
