Submarine Hms E8 Launched- At the outbreak of the First World War E8 was with 8th submarine flotilla at Harwich, attached to the depot ship Hms Maidstone. She was scuttled in Finland in 1918 and finally salvaged in August 1953 for breaking in Finland.
