This Day in History: 1941-05-17
A new type of mine hit the Ordnance Buildings in Harwich. The building was absolutely devastated and two deaths were reported as well as the loss of ARP property. Buildings up to mile away suffered broken windows, whilst many buildings were damaged structurally.
