With dozens of torchbearers lighting the way, and crowds of enthusiastic helpers, Harwich and Dovercourt Guy Carnival procession was, in words of one of the organisers – “the best ever”.
The old shipwrights started the Guy Carnival in Harwich, and their “successors”, employees of Navyard wharf, upheld the tradition on Saturday.
