This Day in History: 1934-03-03
Police on both sides of the North Sea were trying to solve the mystery
disappearance of £2,000-worth of jewellery when a woman arrived at Parkeston Quay from Antwerp. The theft was immediately reported to Scotland Yard who when co-operated with Belgian Police.
