This Day in History: 1941-02-25

Tagg’s General Stores in Grafton Road suffered a direct hit at 8 minutes past 10 on the evening of February 25^th 1941. Considerable structural damage has been caused. Five people were killed in this raid and houses were damaged in Park Road, Grafton Road, Main Road, and Beacon Hill Avenue.
