Poisonous Portuguese man o’war jellyfish strayed from sub-tropical waters to Harwich this week. Three of the large jellyfish – the biggest about 16 inches wide – were seen off Harbour Crescent,Harwich. A spokesman at Harwich Hospital said the sting was poisonous,but could be treated.
